(Relaxnews) – Tom Hanks has topped a new poll ranking America’s favorite movie stars for the fifth time.

Hanks, who is currently on the big screen in the drama “Bridge of Spies,” took the top spot in a Harris Poll which asked 2,250 US adults to name their favorite Hollywood actor.

Hanks took the same title in 2002, 2004, 2005 and 2013.

Rounding out the top five spots are also perennial favorites Johnny Depp, Denzel Washington, John Wayne and Harrison Ford.

Of note, Sandra Bullock takes the sixth spot — the first time a female actress appears on the top 10 list.

Pollsters also pointed out interesting preferences among men and women, Republicans and Democrats.

For example, while men voted John Wayne as their favorite movie star, Johnny Depp was cited as the female favorite.

Wayne was also the overall favorite among Republicans, while Washington was favorite among Democrats.
