Actress-host Anne Curtis is among the nominees in Nickelodeon’s 27th annual Kids’ Choice Awards.

The 29-year-old Kapamilya star is nominated in the Favorite Asian Act category, along with Chinese singer GEM Deng Zhi Qi, Indonesia’s Coboy Junior and Malaysia’s Lisa Surihari.

An “ecstatic” Curtis took to the photo-sharing site Instagram to garner support for the upcoming awards show with the caption: “KILIG!!!!! Another dream come true!!!”

Fil-Am singer Bruno Mars also nabbed a nod for Favorite Male Singer, along with Pitbull, Justin Timberlake, and Pharrell Williams.

Back in 2012, Kapamilya singer Charice took home the award, besting South Korea’s Wonder Girls, Indonesia’s Agnes Monica and Malaysia’s Yuna.

Actress singer Sarah Geronimo was nominated in the 2013 awards show along with YouTube sensation Psy, but both eventually lost out to China’s Han Geng.

Hosted by actor Mark Wahlberg, the star-studded event will take place on March 29 at University of Southern California’s Galen Center. It will be aired in the Philippines on March 31. (MNS)
