MANILA, Jan 10 (Mabuhay) — ARCI Munoz has confirmed her break-up with boyfriend, rock artist Badi del Rosario.

During the press conference of her upcoming movie “Extra Service”, the Kapamilya actress revealed she parted ways with Del Rosario, the son of Brunei’s Prince Jefri Bolkiah.

She said that their three-year romance ended just before Christmas Day.

“I’m going to enjoy my 2017 single and enjoy my single life. Yes, mabuhay ang mga single!” Munoz said.

The actress revealed that things started to head south when she was still doing her 2016 movie “CampSawi”. She said they both tried to save the relationship, but in the end they went their separate ways.

“Naging malabo na siya before that pa. We tried to fix it, but hanggang sa ayun,” she said.

Munoz admitted that her busy showbiz schedule added pressure to the relationship but she’s trying to remain optimistic amid the split.

“I admit naman talaga na sa time ko rin, kasi I don’t want to be unfair with him, although he’s very supportive. I’ve learned na I need to maybe focus muna na ang dami-daming nangyayari sa life ko. So, maybe I need to focus sa isang bagay,” she said.

“You got to move on with your life. I’m just looking on the positive side of everything right now. Isipin ko na lang na maybe it’s God’s way of telling me na that I should focus on the important things in life.”

Now that she’s single, Munoz said she’ll spend more time with her family, which she neglected last year because of work commitments.

She said now is her time to reassess the important things in her life and to reconnect with the people who stood beside her during her ups and downs.

“This year, I’ll make sure na more time with them. Last year I lost my father. Parang hindi ko masyadong nakasama dahil noong last few months niya, sobrang naging busy sa work. Gusto kong baguhin kasi wala namang mas importante pa sa pamilya,” Munoz ended. (MNS)
