Brad Pitt headed for WW2 once again in romance

(Relaxnews) – The Hollywood actor and producer is currently negotiating the starring role in a romance thriller set during World War II.

According to, Brad Pitt is in talks to join this feature produced by GK Films and penned by British screenwriter Steven Knight (“Eastern Promises,” “Locke”).

Producers are simultaneously seeking a high-profile director to begin filming the project in early 2015.

If Pitt comes on board, the project will be the latest in a series of World War II-themed films starring the actor. After headlining Quentin Tarantino’s “Inglourious Basterds” in 2009, Pitt will come to theaters this November in the wartime drama “Fury.” Directed by David Ayer, the feature will star Pitt as the commander of an allied tank crew behind enemy lines.
