Free trip for 2 to the Philippines extended until Dec. 21st

Weekend Balita and The Us Asian post in conjunction with their wonderful sponsors announce the extension of  the “Free Trip for Two to the Philippines” raffle contest, which will send two individuals on a free trip to the Philippines and cover the cost of sending Balikbayan boxes, salon services, and a memorable dinner for two.

The Grand prize will be awarded to the First Prize winner of the raffle, which includes one round-trip ticket to the Philippines courtesy of Philippine Airlines,one round-trip ticket to the Philippines courtesy of the Law Offices of Paul M. Allen, 2-night accommodation in a 5-star hotel courtesy of the Philippine Department of Tourism, and a chance to join the annual Ambassadors’ Tour of the Philippines as a delegate of the Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles.

A total of ten consolation prizes will be awarded to sequential drawings, including four Balikbayan boxes courtesy of Victory Cargo with FREE shipping to the Philippines, five 50$ gift certificates from Colina Salon located in Los Angeles and Long Beach, California and a dinner for two.

The prizes listed above are only a portion of the total prize pool. Between now and the November 21st drawing, more unique prizes will be added.

Kababayan LA with Ms. Janelle So

The raffle itself will be broadcast on LA-18’s daily show “Kababayan LA,” hosted by Janelle So.  Kababayan LA airs daily (Monday to Friday) on KSCI television network, and is undoubtedly a cornerstone of Filipino media and news in the United States.   It is the leading Filipino talk show in Southern California.

This raffle is open to U.S residents who possess a valid I.D. Employees of the organizers, sponsors and their parents, subsidiaries, affiliated companies, dealers, agents and foregoing employees’ household or immediate family members are not eligible to enter the raffle.

Winners will be selected by sponsors in a random drawing from all eligible entries received by November 20th, 2012 at 5:00 PM at Balita Media, Inc. Raffle prizes have no cash value and are valid for services as stated in the advertisement and contest details. By entering Raffle, participants agree to release the sponsors from any liability in connection with entries that are ineligible as the result of los, lateness, damage, incompleteness, theft or misdirection; any typographical, human or technical errors; or any force majeure, and hold harmless Balita media Inc and the event organizers and sponsors. Failure to claim the prizes voids the prizes if unclaimed by February 20th, 2013.

If for any reason the Raffle is not capable of running as planned as the result of any unforeseen event, error, and force majeure, disruption of the public markets or any event that affects the fairness and security of the raffle to no fault of the sponsors.
