(HOLLYWOOD, United States-AFP) – Disney’s musical blockbuster “Frozen” won the best animated feature Oscar on Sunday, the first time the studio has won the category since it was created for the 2002 Academy Awards.

The folk tale adaptation beat “The Croods,” “Despicable Me 2,” “Ernest & Celestine” and “The Wind Rises” for the prize at the 86th Academy Awards, held at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre.
