(Relaxnews) – Green Day is to honor Record Store Day on April 19 with the release of 18 demo tracks in multiple formats.

The band announced the news via Facebook: “We are releasing 18 demos, including an unreleased track, from the Uno, Dos and Tres sessions, exclusively for @recordstoreday. It will come out on colored #vinyl, #CD and even #cassette.”

It wasn’t specified whether the music would be available as one single release or via multiple albums.

The American punk rock band has often contributed to Record Store Day, an annual event that supports indie music stores. In 2012, the band offered up a vinyl test pressing of “¡Uno!” as a giveaway in honor of the event.

Green Day’s news came the same day as Bruce Springsteen announced his own contribution to Record Store Day: a four-track EP of previously unheard songs called “American Beauty.”
