(Relaxnews) – CBS is promoting the ninth and final season of its sitcom with its second teaser trailer. The new video focuses on the “mother” that the lead character, Ted Mosby, has been waiting to meet since 2005.

In the 30-second clip, fans of “How I Met Your Mother” will finally learn more about the character that has kept them wondering for eight years.

Ted (Josh Radnor) will not be the first character to meet his future wife, played by Cristin Millioti. The honors will go instead to Lily (Alyson Hannigan), who meets the mysterious character on a train on her way to Robin and Barney’s wedding (Cobie Smulders and Neil Patrick Harris). As the video shows, their first encounter will not be a very cordial one.

In order to find out the character’s name, and how she will meet Ted Mosby, viewers will have to wait until the season premiere of “How I Met Your Mother” on CBS September 23.
