Kasia Smutniak new face of Fendi fragrance
(Relaxnews) – Polish-born Italian actress Kasia Smutniak signs on as face of a new Fendi women’s scent.
Polish-born Kasia Smutniak is something of a darling of the Italian silver screen. She also has a burgeoning international appeal, having appeared in the 2010 John Travolta and Jonathan Rhys Meyers vehicle “From Paris with Love.” Now she’s been picked as the face of a new women’s eau de parfum from the Roman luxury house, set to arrive in the fall and for now unnamed.
“We look for women with great personalities,” Fendi chairman and chief executive officer Pietro Beccari told WWD. “[Kasia] is also very natural, which we like” he added.
The brand has previous form picking actresses for its fragrance campaigns, including Franco-Italian Chiara Mastroianni (the daughter of European cinematic legends Marcello Mastroianni and Catherine Deneuve), who is the face of the L’Acquarossa scent.
