Lancôme’s “Trésor Midnight Rose Elixir d’Orient” fragrance will be available for purchase starting September 1.

(Relaxnews) – Four years after launching Trésor Midnight Rose, Lancôme is unveiling a new look for this fruity and floral scent based on the rose, the French luxury brand’s signature flower. With “Trésor Midnight Rose Elixir d’Orient,” the hidden face of the Damask rose is revealed at the heart of a fancy nectar. The fragrance will hit stores starting September 1.

For this new fragrance, Lancôme called on Anne Flipo, the nose responsible for the original perfume, who drew inspiration from nighttime in the Orient.

The scent opens with a combination of raspberry, black currant and pink pepper, leading to the heart of rose, jasmine and peony. The base features warm accords of vanilla, patchouli, cedar and oud.

The bottle design for Trésor Midnight Rose Elixir d’Orient remains faithful to the original, with shades of gold and amethyst. Its neck resembles a rose with purple satin petals, and the stopper is cut to resemble a diamond.

This new eau de parfum will be available for purchase on September 1 at the price of €118 for a 75ml bottle.
