(Relaxnews) – Frank Gehry’s impressive body of work is going on show in Paris this week in a retrospective exhibition focused on the contemporary architect.

The show will feature 225 of the Pritzker Prize winner’s drawings and 67 models, accompanied by texts and documentation.

It will be organized around two key themes — “urbanism” and “development of new systems of digital design and fabrication.”

The global retrospective is the first major European show of Gehry’s work, which includes the iconic Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles and the Beekman Tower in New York.

Organized with the help of the architect’s practice Frank Gehry Partners, the exhibition will trace the development of Gehry’s career from the 1960s to the present day, which sees his latest French project, the Fondation Louis Vuitton, about to open in Paris.

“Frank Gehry” will run October 8, 2014 – January 26, 2015 at the Centre Pompidou, Paris.
