Broadway star Lea Salonga did not mince words in criticizing “people claiming to be a friends of mine,” as she took to Twitter Tuesday to vent her anger which she said is “more than justified.”

The 43-year-old performer first expressed her anger on the micro-blogging site on Sunday, which was then followed by several other tweets referring to “shameless” people.

“Don’t make me angry… you wouldn’t like me when I’m angry,” she first tweeted.

On Monday, without addressing anyone in particular, an apparently irate Salonga then said it would be best to avoid any confrontation.

Isa sa pinaka-ayaw ko ay ang taong sobrang kapal kapal kapal kapal ng mukha. Huwag niyo na lang ako harapin, baka may dumugo. Ikaw yun,” she said.

Responding to several followers’ questions, Salong added that “my ire is more than justified,” and that the subject of her tweets is “not a basher” on the social networking site.

“Hindi ko kaya! Ang kapal kasi eh! Sarap tirisin!” she quipped, when asked by another follower if her posts are referring to the same situation as her tweets last Sunday.

When one follower noted that “karma is digital,” Salonga replied, “And I’d love for this a**hole’s digit to fall to the ground without warning.”

On Tuesday, Salonga then replied to a tweet from “The Voice of the Philippines” head writer Garlic Garcia, who noted that she has never “heard [Salonga] say those words ever.” Garcia was referring to the singer’s earlier tweet about “shameless people.”

“I am very slow to anger, until provoked,” Salonga said. “Then the best thing to do is to stay away from me. I was provoked. So there.”

Salonga, in response to other followers’ queries, said the situation “concerns super kapal people claiming to be friends of mine.”

“No friend of mine would do what they did.”

“To quote Gerard,” she added, referring to her brother, “that person was just being him/herself. Puts things in perspective.”

Still apparently angry, Salonga quipped, “Sana makita na niya si Lord.”

Without identifying the persons involved or mentioning whether the tiff is personal or concerning a professional engagement, the “Miss Saigon” star then said, “After three days of venting, I am done.” (MNS)
