(Relaxnews) – The latest series by John Whedon (“The Avengers”) will be broadcast in the US on ABC every Tuesday night at 8, the same time slot as the most-watched series in the US, “NCIS.”

One of the most anticipated new American series, “Agents of SHIELD” will broadcast its first episode on September 24. The show will bring the universe of “The Avengers” to the small screen, following the members of SHIELD (Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division).

ABC is betting high on this new TV show since it could drive audiences for other shows such as “The Goldbergs” and “The Trophy Wife” as well as “Lucky 7.”

Among other ABC shows, “Castle” will be back on September 23 and “Modern Family” is back on September 25 along with “The Middle,” “Back in the Game” and “Nashville.” Fans of “Grey’s Anatomy” will have to wait until September 26 to discover what happens to the Seattle surgeons.

“Once Upon a Time” will have its premiere on September 29 and “Revenge,” “Betrayal” and “Scandal” will be back on October 3, a week before the spin-off “Once Upon a Time in Wonderland.”
