(Relaxnews) – Brazilian footballing superstar Neymar retains his crown as king of Starcount’s chart of the most popular people on social media for the week of June 30-July 6. New to the top ten is Colombian midfielder James Rodriguez, whose team was knocked out of the World Cup on Friday July 4 during the quarter final against Brazil.

Neymar, who is out of the tournament after suffering a fractured vertebra during the match, got 4.2 million likes on Facebook over the past week and was talked about by 10 million people on the site. The world-famous striker, almost as well known for his changing hairstyles as for his ball skills, has gotten more buzz than any other footballer in any country during the tournament.

Rodriguez was in the spotlight following the heated quarter final, receiving 4.3 million likes on Facebook and finding himself the subject of 4.1 million conversations on the site.

Meanwhile, YouTube celebrity and comedian Juega German joined the top 10 with 146,721 Facebook likes and over 15 million YouTube views.
