Los Angeles – Renowned Filipina singer Charice Pempengco (more popularly known as Charice), who has been mesmerizing audiences around the world with her powerful voice, is holding a World Tour that will arrive in Los Angeles, California in March. The series of concerts will also feature a different Charice as she comes of age and shares her newfound freedom with fans, including a break into a genre apart from her usual performances.

Charice first performed in the U.S. on NBC’s The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where the audience gave her two standing ovations even as Ellen repeatedly expressed amazement during the entire show. “You are amazing!” Ellen kept telling her. Charice gained further international acclaim when she appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show, where Oprah dubbed Charice, “The most talented girl in the world!” after a breathtaking performance. These were followed by appearances in two Hollywood movies and in the highly popular TV show Glee, where Charice showed not only her singing talent but acting prowess as well. Ryan Murphy, the creator of Glee, was so astonished by Charice’s talent that he exclaimed, “When that girl opens her mouth, angels fly out.”  Charice most certainly has come a long way from her early beginnings as a singing sensation on YouTube.

Gifted with a thrilling voice comparable with divas Whitney Houston and Celine Dion, Charice soon found herself sharing the stage with Celine and many other stars, such as: Andrea Bocelli, Patti LaBelle, Donna Summer, Chaka Khan, Natalie Cole, David Foster, Brian McKnight, Ne-Yo and more.  Her debut studio album, Charice, rose to Number 8 on the Billboard 200 – the first solo recording by an Asian to enter the Top 10 – followed by the albumInfinity, which featured Before it Explodes, written by Bruno Mars.

It was not only Charice’s talent that endeared her to audiences around the globe but her incredibly inspirational life story as well. Every song she performs is imbued with the dynamic strength of her character and the ever increasing charity of her heart. Her fans, Chasters as they are called, are excited to watch Charice with renewed interest as she recently grabbed media attention after coming out to proclaim affection for another female performer from the Philippines – a move which Oprah Winfrey recognized on Twitter.

Charice will be performing live on March 15 at 7 p.m.  at the Wilshire Ebell Theater, 4401 West 8th Street, Los Angeles, California.

The concert will also feature special guest Cheesa, a finalist on recording artist CeeLo Green’s team of the TV show The Voice. Charice and Cheesa have released a single together entitled I’m Not Perfect.

Details of Charice’s 2014 World Tour may be seen at, while tickets are available at for $48, $68 and $88 each. Limited VIP tickets, that include a meet-and-greet/photo-op, are offered for $110.
