(Relaxnews) – Pizza deliveries take to the air with Domino’s DomiCopter, a remote-controlled drone aircraft modified to deliver deep pan and thin crust payloads.

The result of what Domino’s UK calls “exciting technological research,” though what many readers will probably describe as a clever publicity stunt, The DomiCopter can climb at high speeds to high altitudes to avoid obstacles and is much faster than the traditional means of delivering a pizza.

As such, Domino’s claims that if the idea ‘takes off’ that it will launch a flight academy to train up aspiring delivery pilots.

Unsurprisingly, although only officially released on Thursday, the video has already somehow managed to go viral.
