(Relaxnews) – The two actors have joined “Agent 47″ and “The Best of Me,” landing roles that were to be played by the late Paul Walker.

British actor Rupert Friend, seen recently on “Homeland,” has inherited the title role in “Agent 47,” a new film adaptation of the stealth video game series “Hitman,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Played by Timothy Olymphant in a 2007 movie, Agent 47 is a professional killer whose troubling appearance and total baldness is the result of genetic modification. Aleksander Bach will direct the new adaptation for Fox.

In “The Best of Me,” an adaptation of the Nicholas Sparks novel, James Marsden will fill the void left by Walker’s death in November.

According to Deadline.com, the actor who played JFK in “The Butler” will portray Dawson, a man who returns to his hometown for the first time in 20 years following the death of a friend. This homecoming will bring him back into contact with Amanda, his first love. Michael Hoffman (“The Last Station”) will direct this romantic drama.
