The Blessed Sacrament School is celebrating nearly 100 years of educating Hollywood at its 3rd Annual Star Awards Night on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 6:00 PM at Blessed Sacrament School Auditorium, 6641 Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles, California, 90028.  It was founded in 1915 in Hollywood, by the Jesuit Fathers then run by IHS, the Sisters of Immaculate Heart of Jesus, followed by the laity. Raphael Domingo, is currently the principal with a highly qualified staff. The school offers an innovative and creative Preschool up to Grade 8 to help children achieve academic excellence socially and spiritually through a Catholic education.

Honorees for the Star and Dancing Event are: Fr. Gregory Goethals, SJ. President Loyola High School, Distinguished Board Member, Fabio Conti, Fabulous’ Restaurant Distinguished Community Leader, Al Marsella, Executive Director, Fred & June McMurray Foundation, Distinguished Parishioner  and Stars of Yesteryear: Loretta Young, Ricardo Montalban, Irene Dunne and Bing Crosby. Co hosts for the evening are Elizabeth Espinoza of KTLA and CNN Latino  and Charles Coulombe, a historian, author and a Blessed Sacrament Alumnus.
