(Relaxnews) – Marvel’s May 23 superhero film continues teasing a full trailer due in a week’s time with this 15-second teaser posted to Instagram.

With the clip’s screen real estate divided into nine, a baseball-team’s worth of supermutants features in a sequential, segmented montage.

And with the film’s storyline spanning both past and future, “X-Men: Days of Future Past” is an opportunity for Fox and Marvel to unite the cast of 2011′s “X-Men: First Class” with that of the original “X-Men” trilogy.

As such, two of the teaser’s characters will be played by two actors in “Days of Future Past”: Patrick Stewart is the older version of James McAvoy’s X-Men leader Charles Xavier, and Michael Fassbender is Ian McKellen’s younger self as Magneto.

Among those new to the franchise are French actor Omar Sy (“The Intouchables”) as red-cloaked Bishop, and mustachioed future evil mastermind Bolivar Trask, played by Peter Dinklage (“Game of Thrones”).
