(Relaxnews) – On February 9, 1964, four young, floppy-haired Brits took to the airwaves of US TV variety program “The Ed Sullivan Show” and pulled off a performance that would alter the trajectory of music forever. And while their musical influence has touched nearly every part of the globe, here are a few iconic destinations where Beatles fans can pay homage to the band.

Compiled by Cheapflights.com, the top 10 list of Beatles fans destinations includes predictable destinations like Liverpool and New York, but also spans India to Argentina.

Here’s a selection of interesting Beatles fan destinations:

Prague, Czech Republic
Beatles fans in Prague began expressing their love for the band beginning in the 1980s by turning a wall into a shrine for John Lennon. Over the years, authorities would repaint the wall but persistent fans would retag it with Beatles lyrics and images of Lennon. Today, the Lennon Wall is seen to symbolize love and peace.

Las Vegas, USA
Headed to Sin City? Cirque du Soleil has created a show simply titled “Love” that celebrates the band’s legacy through aerial performances, extreme sports and urban, freestyle dance. The show is being performed at The Mirage.

Buenos Aires, Argentina
In 2001, an avid Beatles fan opened a museum housing thousands of Beatles-related memorabilia — the largest of its kind at the time. To recreate a bit of Liverpool in Buenos Aires, next door to the museum is a Cavern Club that hosts live gigs.

Rishikesh, India
To recharge and seek alternative song-writing inspiration, the Beatles traveled to India during the 1960s in a meditative and spiritual odyssey. Today, the ashram of the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in Rishikesh, where the group learned transcendental meditation, is derelict and abandoned. But that doesn’t stop Beatles fans traveling throughout India from making a pilgrimage to the site that inspired several songs on the band’s “White Album” and “Abbey Road.”

Riviera Maya, Mexico
Until February 10, Beatles fans in the tourist hotspot can celebrate the 50th anniversary of the British invasion at the Hard Rock Café Riviera Maya, which will throw a party that includes live performances, private music lessons and keynote speakers who will pay tribute to the band.

Rounding out the top 10 list is Liverpool, London, New York, Hamburg, Germany and Cleveland.
