World’s most visited theme park for 2014: Magic Kingdom

(Relaxnews) – The ‘happiest place on earth’ was also the most popular last year, as Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World in Florida attracted 19.3 million visitors, the most of any theme park in the world.

That’s according to a newly released report from the Themed Entertainment Association, which compiled a list of the top visited theme parks for 2014.

After Magic Kingdom, Tokyo Disneyland clocked in the second most visitors with 17.3 million people followed by Disneyland in Anaheim, California.

Overall, the report shows that visits to theme parks worldwide grew 4 percent in 2014. Likewise, growth at Magic Kingdom also spiked 4 percent compared to the year previous.

8. Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World, Florida, USA
9. Disneyland Park at Disneyland Paris, Marne-La-Vallee, France
10. Disney’s CA Adventure, Florida, USA
